Yo les exijo mantener un promedio general de 85% en todos sus cursos y en espanol, pero tambien tiene que tomar el NSE (National Spanish exam). Each semester they need to earn 3 community service credits, tutoring, participating in fundraiser or hispanic festivals. Also come to the biweekly meetings one meeting is for busness and the other to have conversational Spanish, practice the NSE, watch movie or other fun activities. If they are going to miss a meeting they need to bring a signed paper by their parents or couch of the other activitivy. I ope this helps you Hola:

At our school, I'm pretty sure students have to have at least a B average in their Spanish classes. They can apply and be inducted during the year they take Spanish II. Also, students must have participated in the school's Spanish Club for a year before applying for Spanish Honor Society. Mucho gusto! They must have never failed a marking period in Spanish. This seems to have helped us get the students who are truly interested in the language and want to participate in the chapter activities.
