The First Honor Society to come to Island Pacific Academy speaks Spanish!
Our chapter belong to a new school and being a new school we have many “first” experiences. The most recent happened on Thursday, April 24, when six sophomores were inducted into the Society. To be a member of this chapter a student must have a 93% grade average or higher in the study of Spanish and a GPA of 3.3 or above. . The new member are Jessica Blakely, Marah Lynch, Cuyler Otsuka, Ramona Roy, James Mina and Chelsie Baclig. Their advisor is Nydia Santiago- Cordero, Spanish teacher and Chair of World Languages at IPA. Island Pacific Academy is an independent, non-denominational, co-educational university preparatory school in Kapolei, Hawaii that began enrolling students in 2004.
