Quick start to writing blogs, comments, and tips on adding pics
Follow the following steps to write a blog:
1. Register (located on right side of the home page at the bottom).
2. Check your e-mail for your password.
3. Log-in using your user name and password.
4. At Dashboard select Write and enter your post. Be sure to type text until you reach the end of the line. Check the appropriate Category for your post-located on the right side. If there is no appropriate category, check Uncategorized.
5. If you want to add pictures, in the space below choose file-browse-find pic file-open- and then choose download in the space that is below the space where you have written. The pic-image appears in the space above. Send the pic to editor. Now click on the image icon and size the picture at 180×140. You will need to do this since the pic has been inserted in this space at actual size. If you have photo shop, it is quicker to size down your pic before placing it into the post. In Photo Shop use Edit-Image Size-choose 3.2 in x 2.4 in size.
6. Choose Save and Publish when you want to post the blog (and/or pic) at the site.
Note-To use the left side of the home page, you do not need to log-in. Only log-in, if you wish to blog.
7. If you wish to edit your post, go to Manage-Posts. Click on your post, where Edit is highlighed, and change your post. You may delete your post when you think it has been online for a sufficient amount of time and is no longer relevant. You may only edit your posts.
8. To read a blog click on the Post or Category and then click on the title of the post (in red) at the top of the page.
9. If you are at the site page-Home page and you wish to post a blog or edit, click on Site Admin at the bottom right of home page to post or edit.
